CD RELEASE CONCERT

TO BENEFIT

SWANNANOA VALLEY CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

Sat August 30th  7:30pm
Tickets: $15
Both Brames have a long history of music making and service in the area. Renae was for many years the highly respected supervisor of the Black Mountain Correctional Center for Women, where she gained recognition for launching innovative programs aimed at helping inmates transition successfully back to community life. Jamie is on the staff at the Christmount Christian Assembly, where he coordinates camps and conferences, leads worship, and trains and supervises camp staff. The talented duo perform together frequently, their voices blending above Renae’s guitar and Jamie’s mandolin in folk-inspired original songs.

The concert’s beneficiary, the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, has seen its resources stretched by an increased demand for services in the current economic climate. The organization offers assistance in meeting both basic and emergency needs in an atmosphere of compassion, love, hope and encouragement. The SVCM also offers help in job placement, training and educational advancement
