Clapton has been the recipient of 18 Grammy Awards, and is only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and Cream.
Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time
to visit the Eric Clapton website

Scheduled to appear are
BJ Leiderman, renowned NPR composer and local music fixture ever since he moved to the area. He will be playing piano on several songs and I am sure we will get him to sing one for the house.
Eric Congdon, local fixture on the music scene in this area, on guitars and vocals. Eric plays all over the Asheville area. He was also part of the band at the first night of the George Harrison event in 2013.
Jake Wolf, who plays with the Billy Sea band, among many others. Jake is one of the best bassists in the region.
Chuck Beattie, area blues musician who has appeared overseas playing the blues.
Patrick Dodd of regional touring band East Coast Dirt. Also was on The Voice.
Sinn McTavish, who has played with Sheryl Crow and has upcoming appearances on the Jimmy Fallon Show and Austin City Limits.
ZuZu Welsh, guitarist ZuZu Welsh is the organizer of this evening's program and a wonderful guitarist in his on right.

Other artists to be added.
