"Take Two" is unique in putting WNC's A-list jazz musicians out front, alone, with just piano accompaniment, spotlighting each individual's artistry. This year's roster is full of talented area musicians (one different instrument each month). Holding this series on Mondays has sent the message: "it's all about the music," which we are confident you will find phenomenal. We have been recording performances and will release them as a series patterned after Concord's "Live at Maybeck" piano series.
