Simerly is a jazz artist currently teaching at Milligan College in Tennessee who critics have hailed as one of the finest trombonists working today, as borne out by the long list of top flight artists he’s toured and recorded with. He’s also in great demand as a clinician and soloist throughout the U.S.
Holding the concerts on Mondays, normally a quiet spot on the club scene, emphasizes that Take Two is “all about the music”, in Bares’ words, and the format ensures that every show is a unique experience.
