Take a musical journey to Paris to celebrate the arrival of Spring!

We welcome the wonderful musical couple of Jason and Dilshad Posnock
to AmiciMusic for the first time together.

Jason is well-known to Asheville audiences as Concertmaster of the Asheville Symphony and as director of artistic planning and educational programs at the Brevard Music Center.

Dilshad is also on the faculty at Brevard and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in concerts and festivals across the United States, England, Puerto Rico and India.
We will perform some very lush French music by Poulenc, Saint-Saens, Gaubert, Ibert, and Martinu that will musically transport you to the magical City of Lights in springtime.

As the song says: "April in Paris! What have you done to my heart!"

AmiciMusic, founded in 2011 in Asheville, NC, is dedicated to performing the highest quality chamber music in intimate venues and non-traditional spaces on a monthly basis in both Asheville and Baltimore. We are committed to breaking down barriers between performers and audiences by setting up a more relaxed, informal, and welcoming atmosphere at concerts and through informative talks about the composer's life before each piece is played.

Daniel Weiser, piano, is the founder and Artistic Director of AmiciMusic. He has been described as "truly a master Impresario" and "a force of pianistic energy" who can "absolutely smoke the 88 keys." He has performed in fifteen countries around the world, including Egypt, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Syria. He has a Doctorate in Piano/Chamber Music from the Peabody Conservatory where he worked with Samuel Sanders and he has taught music at Dartmouth College, UNCA, and Johns Hopkins University.
