AmiciMusic, founded in 2011 in Asheville, NC, is dedicated to performing the highest quality chamber music in intimate venues and non-traditional spaces on a monthly basis in both Asheville and Baltimore. We are committed to breaking down barriers between performers and audiences by setting up a more relaxed, informal, and welcoming atmosphere at concerts and through informative talks about the composer's life before each piece is played.

Daniel Weiser, piano, is the founder and Artistic Director of AmiciMusic. He has been described as "truly a master Impresario" and "a force of pianistic energy" who can "absolutely smoke the 88 keys." He has performed in fifteen countries around the world, including Egypt, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Syria. He has a Doctorate in Piano/Chamber Music from the Peabody Conservatory where he worked with Samuel Sanders and he has taught music at Dartmouth College, UNCA, and Johns Hopkins University. He also attended Harvard Law School at the same time as former President Obama
