Tracey Schmidt returns to WHBM, one of her favorite local venues, to perform, by memory, the work of Rumi, Hafiz, Mary Oliver, and her own work. Her first book of poetry, I Have Fallen in Love with the World, will be available, as well as her CD. Her poetry has been published in Field of Dreams Poetry Anthology, Western NC Woman, Mountain Express, Sheville, Sunburst Anthology of Women Writers, SOL Poetry Anthology, and numerous other publications. She recently produced a music/poetry CD (Returning Home) with world-class musicians Mariam Matossian and River Guerguerian, recording the work of Rumi, Hafiz, Yeats and her own poetry. She continues to perform her work in the southeast and abroad with world class musicians. She will be performing with Cliff Hackford on tabla and Isabel Castellvi on cello.

Some of the artists he has played/recorded with are Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, Matt Guitar Murphy, AK-47, Cadillacmoon, Vicki Sue Robinson, Fullhand, the Drifters, Clark Terry, the Shirelles, Ken Booth, Marcia Griffith, Al Anderson, Arlen Roth , the Coasters, the marvelettes , the Chiffons, Abijet Mungergee , Sonic Bliss Kirtan, Satya Franc and many more artist covering many different styles of music. 

Cliff works as an in demand music producer and session musician; he owns and operates Parkhillrecording.com ,a full service recording studio in North Myrtle Beach. 



Isabel Castellvi, cello, plays with the Asheville Symphony and several small local groups. She received a Bachelor’s in music performance at DePaul University and a Master's in the Contemporary Performance Program at Manhattan School of Music. 

Isabel has studied North Indian Classical Music with renowned vocalist Rajyasree Ghosh in Kolkata, India and Falu Shah in New York City. She is a cellist who has been influenced by folk and classical music alike.
