The White Horse is proud to present in partnership with Movies & Meaning, on the big screen, Claude Berri's The Two of Us - the classic story of an 8-year old Jewish boy in Nazi-occupied France, sent to live in the country with his parents' Catholic friends. Made in 1967 and recently restored, The Two of Us is one of the great films about meeting each other across lines of prejudice.
It's a film we need now, rare, beautiful, powerful and challenging (it also has an extremely rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes).
Not only that, it's White Horse owner Bob Hinkle's very favorite film of all time - and he hasn't seen it for nearly fifty years!

About Movies & Meaning
These days the noise of bad, fake, and hurtful stories is loud, harsh, and sometimes overwhelming. The task of creating our better world seems large and difficult to hold. And many people we’ve talked to just seem, for lack of a better word, tired.
