AmiciMusic: AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Thursday Feb 18th 2016 at 7:30pm

$15 in advance / $20 at the door

Steve Loew
on clarinet
 Daniel Weiser
on piano.

Tonight's program is  a tribute to Paris, the City of Love, this being the month of Valentine's Day.  The concert  also honors those who died there in the terrorist attack last November.

This program will feature music from the turn of the 20th century by French composers such as Darius Milhaud and Francis Poulenc as well as music written by American composers who traveled and lived there, such as George Gershwin and Cole Porter.    As Hemingway wrote of this period, Paris was truly a "Moveable Feast," the center of musical, artistic, and literary culture for a new and revolutionary generation.

Join us as we partake in this fantastic smorgasbord!
