From southern international waters, from industrial entertainment to classical music, dance, and theatre repertoire, from the gondolas on the canals of Venice, Italy to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC, Rebecca O'Quinn is truly a virtuoso of the stage. Decades of training, performance, choreography, and instruction experience have founded a rich and innovative life for this professional vocalist, musician, actress, model, and movement artist. Forever on a quest to attain a higher level of excellence in stage artistry, Rebecca remains both a humble student and teacher of the intricate craft of creation. It is her goal that ultimately these gifts which were so graciously bestowed to her be of benefit to those communities around her, with which she is so blessed to be a part.

Born and raised in humble beginnings in the summer of 1985 in Raleigh/Durham, NC, Rebecca's earliest love for the performing arts was cultivated by listening to classic folk artists like Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, and Hank Williams to name a few. Between the sounds of these country pioneers ringing from her grandparents' old radio, and her parents,' teachers,' and younger brothers,' persistent encouragement, Rebecca knew from a very young age that it was a stage life for which she was bound. This keen knowing propelled her to obtain a degree in Dance Performance/Choreography and Musical Theatre from Elon University. With movement, voice, dance, and acting training in tow, Rebecca set about to live a versatile life in the studio and stage.

Since graduating in 2007, Rebecca has performed with regional dance, theatre, and industrial companies, cruise lines and theme parks, country, blues, funk, jazz, and folk bands, and has had the pleasure of posing as a dance, movement, fashion, and editorial model. For over a decade, she enjoyed the life of a traveling neo-gypsy, touring both nationally and internationally for diverse audiences and venues. Finally in 2012, Rebecca sought out a community for which she could cultivate longevity within an artistic community. She then returned to her southern roots in the lively avant-garde mountain town of Asheville, NC and has cherished calling it home ever since. Currently, she a full time dancer, instructor and choreographer with The Asheville Ballet, Warren Wilson College, Mars Hill University, and other area dance and theatre studios. She performs locally with the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, several other regional theatres, and with her country band, Rebecca and the Reckoning and it's trio counterpart, Fancy and the Gentlemen. Rebecca is constantly seeking and pursuing opportunities to deepen and maintain her training and affluence as a performer, choreographer, and instructor, and community advocate for the arts.
